Noah Emmerich is an American actor most known for his Critics' Choice Award-winning turn as FBI agent Stan Beeman in the FX espionage thriller, The Americans, Edwin Jenner in the AMC zombie-thriller, The Walking Dead, and Dan Peleg in the Netflix espionage thriller miniseries, The Spy.

He is set to star in the upcoming Netflix original comedy series, Space Force.

7. Stars in the Upcoming Netflix Series, Space Force

Emmerich is set to play Kick Grabaston in the upcoming Netflix comedy series, Space Force.

Set in the not-so-distant future, the series is set as a workplace comedy centered around the employees of the United States Space Force.

The series will feature an ensemble cast including Steve Carell, John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Diana Silvers, and Tawny Newsome among others.       

The series is aiming for a May 29, 2020 premiere date.

6. Married Since 2014 to Mary Regency Boies

Noah is currently in his second marriage to the actress, Mary Regency Boies. Boies is known for her roles in movies like Transcendence, Silver Linings Playbook, and Son of Morning.

They tied the knot on April 26, 2014.

Before Boies, Emmerich was married for five years to the actress, Melissa Fitzgerald -- of Frequency, The West Wing, and Grey's Anatomy fame. They got married on  November 28, 1998, and got divorced in 2003.    

5. Played Stan Beeman in The Americans

Emmerich garnered critical acclaim for his long-standing performance as FBI agent Stan Beeman in the FX period-espionage-thriller, The Americans.

Centered around two Soviet KGB officers disguised as an American couple, the series starred Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys as Elizabeth and Philip Jennings, the Russian spies in the guise of a couple. Emmerich played the FBI agent, who also happens to be their neighbor.

Emmerich's performance won him the 2019 Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series

Emmerich has also appeared on the big screens, both in supporting roles as well as starring roles.

His feature film debut came in 1993 when he played a minor character in the action-comedy flick, Last Action Hero starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

His first starring role came three years later, in the 1996 romantic-comedy-drama, Beautiful Girls, where he was part of an ensemble cast that featured the likes of Matt Dillon, Rosie O'Donnell, Natalie Portman, and Uma Thurman, to name a few.

He played Jim Carrey's titular character's best friend, Louis Coltrane / Marlon in the 1998 sci-fi/comedy, The Truman Show.

In 2006, he starred alongside Kate Winslet, Patrick Wilson, Jennifer Connelly, among others, in the drama movie, Little Children.

Emmerich also played the main antagonist, Colonel Nelec in the 2011 sci-fi-monster thriller, Super 8.

Apart from his starring television roles, Emmerich has also made numerous guest appearances in TV shows.

He played Roderick Brody in an episode of the police-procedural mystery-drama, Monk, in 2009.

For his performance as Edwin Jenner in the AMC zombie-thriller, The Walking Dead, Emmerich was nominated for a Saturn Award in 2011.

He is the youngest of three sons born to art dealer André Emmerich and his wife, concert pianist, Constance Emmerich. 

His father, a German and French Jewish, was a holocaust survivor, and his mother was of Hungarian-Romanian descent. His older brothers, one of whom is Toby Emmerich, is a producer and film executive, and the chairman of the Warner Bros. Pictures Group. His other brother, Adam Emmerich, is a lawyer.
