Richard Goulding is an English stage and screen actor. He is most famous for his portrayal of Prince Harry, the Duke of Essex, on-stage and on-screen.

He is also one of the stars of the recent historical drama series, Belgravia, that premiered in the UK on March 15, 2020, and in the US on April 12, 2020.

7. Played Prince Harry On-Stage in King Charles III and On-Screen in The Windsors

Richard Goulding bears a striking resemblance to Prince Harry and was the perfect match to portray the Duke of Essex.

Goulding portrayed Prince Harry in the 2014 stage play, King Charles III. He reprised the character in the eponymous 2017 TV adaptation.

Furthermore, Goulding also played Prince Harry in the Channel 4 sitcom, The Windsors. A satirical parody of the British royal family, the series premiered in April 2016, and to date, has released three seasons.   

6. Stars in ITV/Epix Historical Drama, Belgravia

Goulding's experience in historical dramas helped him land a prominent role in the drama series, Belgravia.

Set in 19th century England, the series centers around the Trenchard family as they try to establish themselves among the elites of London.

Goulding plays Oliver Trenchard, the son of the Trenchard family. Other members of the Trenchard family are James Trenchard (played by Philip Glenister), Anne Trenchard (played by Tasmin Greig), and Sophia Trenchard (played by Emily Reid).

The show also stars Saskia Reeves, Alice Eve, Tamsin Greig, Harriet Walter, Jeremy Neumark Jones, Nicholas Rowe, and James Chalmers, to name a few.     

5. Appearance in the Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin Romantic Drama, Me Before You

Goulding had a minor role in the 2016 romantic drama movie, Me Before You, as Freddie Foster.

Based on the 2012 Jojo Moyes novel of the same name, Me Before You stars Sam Claflin as a recently-paralyzed man, William "Will" Traynor, and Emilia Clarke as his caretaker whom he falls in love with, Louisa "Lou" Clark

4. Played Boris Johnson in Brexit: The Uncivil War

Known for his impersonations, Goulding also played Boris Johnson, the current prime minister of the UK in the 2019 TV drama movie, Brexit: The Uncivil War.

The series follows the events leading up to the UK leaving the European Union -- colloquially known as Brexit

The series premiered in the UK on Channel 4 on January 7, 2019, and in the US on HBO January 19, and starred Benedict Cumberbatch, Rory Kinnear, and Lee Boardman, among others. 

3. Guest Appearances in Foyle's War, Doctors, and Traitors

Goulding has been a major fixture of British television since his debut in 2009 as part of the action series, M.I. High

He went on to make guest appearances on numerous TV shows. He played Jack Stanford in a 2010 episode of the ITV World War II crime-drama series, Foyle's War

He also played Adam Dukes in 2011 in an episode of the BBC1 medical soap opera, Doctors, and Jerry in an episode of the 2019 thriller, Traitors.  

2. Prominent Appearances in Ripper Street, Fresh Meat, and White House Farm

Goulding has also had prominent appearances in other British TV shows. 

He had recurring appearances in the BBC crime-thriller, Ripper Street, based around the Jack the Ripper murders; Goulding played Edgar Morton.

He also was a recurring character in the Channel 4 comedy-drama series, Fresh Meat. He played Tomothy in the show's fourth season throughout 2016.

In 2020. Goulding also played the recurring character, David Boutflour in the true-crime drama miniseries, White House Farm.
