Body-shaming in 2019 is met with almost universal derision, but it has not stopped people from indulging in the abhorrent culture. With social media providing a veil of anonymity, people feel emboldened to pass vile remarks about someone's body without facing the repercussions.

Celebrities are a contingent of people most prone to snide comments about their body since they live and die in the spotlight. From models to actresses, from fat-shaming to skinny-shaming, these are 10 such celebrities who have been the victim of body-shaming but fought back.

Being a model, Gigi is not new to being bashed for her body. She has been called too skinny, and too fat.
