Why Do World Famous Millionaire Celebrities Commit Suicide?
While we can only assume why someone is driven to a point where they feel the only solution is to end their life, there are some reasons supported by experts.
From the outside, the life of a celebrity with millions of dollars and global fame might seem as though perfect but the reality is almost always different from the truth.
One of the funniest and most entertaining comedians, Robin Williams was so depressed he hung himself.
Celebs’ lives are almost always in the public and rarely get any privacy. This 24/7 limelight makes it hard for them to have a private life, every decision a celeb makes is scrutinized and judged by someone.
Similarly, they find themselves distanced from reality and almost isolated as a human being who cannot be real with anyone.
Loneliness is also a major factor in making people induce self-harm and suicide.
A paper by Ariel Stravinski and Richard Boyer has also reported a correlation between loneliness and suicide among a diverse range of demographic groups.
Important: If you are having suicidal thoughts, just take a deep breath and know you are not alone, contact a family member or friend. If you feel yourself on the edge and have no one to talk to contact several online hotlines.
